Parliament addresses clarification of funding election campaigns

Iran Press/ Iran News: The open session kicked off at 8:10 AM local time chaired by Speaker Ali Larijani on Saturday 26 January. The double-urgency bill bans candidates' either cash or non-cash payments to people, considering it as an act of buying-and-selling votes.

By the virtue of the bill, governorates are obliged to warn the violators through written hints, taking the necessary measures to prevent and report the violation cases to the judiciary officials.

The open session kicked off at 8:10 AM local time chaired by Speaker Ali Larijani on Saturday.

Sunday and Monday will be the last sessions of the parliament before the coming parliamentary elections of Iran on February 21, 2020.
