Masuleh (IP) - The recent snowfalls and fog have doubled the beauty of the traced town of Masuleh, an attraction for the winter tourists and travelers.

Iran Press/Iran news: The historical and terraced town of Masuleh is one of the historic and beautiful places of Gilan Province, Northern Iran. Both in the summer and the winter, it is among Iran's tourist attractions; In the summer with its cool weather and in the winter because of the snowfall and the fog.

Being Located in Southwestern Gilan province in the areas of Sardar Jangal in Fouman, Masuleh is the most famous example of the world's terraced architecture, according to the historical documents.

Masuleh is estimated to be 800-1000 years old and it is situated in the woodland hillside, 1050 meters above the sea level.
