The Iranian Foreign Minister has said the Iraqi government had been informed of the impending Iranian missile strike, noting that Iran attaches great value to Iraq's territorial integrity and independence.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Wednesday evening 8th January after the signing of a memorial note for the martyrs of the recent assassination at the Iraqi embassy in Tehran in response to what has been said regarding the Iranian measure is an invasion of Iraq, stated Tehran believes that security must be based on mutual respect and territorial integrity of all countries in the region.

He reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has acted in connection with a military base occupied by US criminals who martyred Lieutenant General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their comrades.
