Iran Press/Iran news: The final platform of South Pars Gas Field Phase 14, dubbed as SPD-14D, was loaded on Saturday in the SADRA Marine Industrial Company after the completion of its construction for transfer to the installation site at the Iran-Qatar Joint Gas Border.

It is the fourth and final platform of the 14th phase of the South Pars gas field with a daily extraction capacity of 14 million and 200,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

With the installation of this sea platform, the daily extraction of this phase will reach 56 million cubic meters of gas.

The platform weighs 2,400 tones and has 80 kilometers of cabling and 37,000 inches of piping and all its equipment is mechanically installed.

SPD-14D was built by young Iranian experts and shows that despite US sanctions and maximum pressure policy, Iran's gas, oil, and petrochemical industry is moving forward.

The South Pars gas field is the largest in the world, and is located in the Persian Gulf in the territorial waters of Iran and Qatar, and is shared by both nations.
