Chabahar (IP) - The Commander of the Third Naval Zone of Iran's Navy, rear Admiral Mostafa Tajodini, stated that the plans and exercises were performed as it was designed jointly by Iran, China, and Russia Naval drills.

Iran Press/Iran News: Rear Admiral Mostafa Tajodini Commander of the Third Naval Zone of Iran's Navy in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency said: "What I can say so far is that all the exercises that were pre-planned for this military exercise have been carried out as planned."

The Rear Admiral added: "Today we had guest floats departing from the Shahid Beheshti Port and monitoring the area, and then we had units preparing to conduct shooting and tactical exercises." 

"In the afternoon we will have night-time tactics" he noted.

Rear Admiral Mustafa Tajodini added, Russia has been present with its three submarines and China has joined with one of its newest destroyers, and we have seen a strong and motivated presence from all participating countries.

On 27th December Iran, Russia, and China began a four-day joint naval exercise codenamed 'Marine Security Belt', in the Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman area. Naval forces and sailors from China and Russia, along with units from the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Islamic Republic's Navy, will be trained to improve their fighting skills, combat readiness, security, and experience with anticipated exercises. 101/211/219
