Iran Press/Asia: In a meeting with members of the Syrian-Iranian Parliamentary Friendship Committee chaired by Hussein Ragheb Hussein, Larijani expressed hope that the Astana Peace Process will lead to settlement of the crisis in Syria.
He also hailed the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army and the firm stance of the Syrian leadership, Iran Press reported.
Iranian parliament speaker also expressed hope that Idleb province will be cleansed of the remaining terrorists.
For his part, Hussein Ragheb Hussein slammed Washington's unilateral sanctions against Iran, underlying that the Syrian and Iranian peoples have proved that they are keen on the establishment of peace and friendship in the world.
