The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Javad Zarif, and the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Oman, Ali Bin Masoud al-Sunaidy, emphasized the necessity of expanding Tehran-Muscat economic cooperation.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali Bin Masoud al-Sunaidy and head of the Omani side of the two countries' Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, who are in Iran to hold the 18th round of the commission, on Sunday during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, presented a report on the joint commission of the two countries' cooperation, Iran Press reported.

Referring to the high capacities of cooperation between the two countries in different fields, Mohammad Javad Zarif emphasized the necessity of increasing economic cooperation.

Al- Sunaidy for his part described the latest state of economic relations, referring to the achievements of the Economic Cooperation Commission.

Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry today attended the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation of Iran and Oman.

Ali bin Massoud al- Sunaidy met with First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri this morning.

Iran's Jahangiri in the meeting said that expanding cooperation and ties between Iran and Oman is to the benefit of the Muslim world as well as the Countries of the region.

The 18th Joint Iran-Oman Economic Cooperation Commission was held at the international permanent fairground in Tehran on Saturday morning.

Iran's Industry, Mine and Trade Minister, Reza Rahmani and Oman's Minister of Industry, Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy, were present in the meeting, and the two ministers were accompanied by high-ranking officials.205/204
