Tehran (IP) - Registration of Iran's parliamentary election candidates kicked off at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, for the fourth consecutive day.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to the spokesman of 'Iran's Election Headquarters', Seyyed Esmaeil Mousavi, on Tuesday 3080 candidates registered as prospective candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections next February.

Mousavi also said on Tuesday that those who have resigned in order to register as candidates in this election must have their resignation certificates with them. 

The upcoming legislative elections in Iran will be held on 21 February 2020, four years after the previous legislative elections in early 2016.
