Iran Press/Iran news: President Hassan Rouhani in his message to 'Zeljko Komsic', Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, offered his sincerest congratulations to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to his counterpart on the occasion of Bosnia's National Day.
According to an Iran Press report quoting the official website of President Rouhani, the message read: "The background of the two countries' relations shows the determination of the two countries to further develop their relations."
President Rouhani expressed hope for broadening of mutual ties between the two nations in the near future.
Iran’s First Vice President Eshagh Jahangiri also sent a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
In a message on Monday to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina 'Denis Zvizdic', Jahangiri congratulated him and the Bosnian nation on the country's Statehood Day, which falls on November 25.
Jahangiri expressed hope that the friendly relations between Tehran and Sarajevo would be further expanded in all areas.
Bosnians commemorate November 25 as Statehood Day as it marks the day in 1943, on which the Anti-Fascist Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBiH) adopted a resolution declaring Bosnia and Herzegovina an equal community of Serbs, Muslims, and Croats. 205/211
