Iranian MP appreciated vigilance and the role of 'Basij' in the recent unrest in different cities if Iran, saying that without Basij, Basij, recent riots and unrests would destroy the country.

Iran Press/Iran news: Sirjan and Bardsir representative in Majlis, Shahbaz Hassanpour said in his remarks in the parliament on Sunday "Without Basij, the country would have succumbed due to recent unrest."

"Basij supports people and the country and if there was no Basij, recent riots and unrests would destroy the country," Hassanpour said.

Reminding some deficiencies of putting off the 'fuel management plan' in effect, the MP added "Difficult days passed and we witnessed events that would not have happened if better measures were taken. We must have a plan for our mismanagement."

The parliamentarian emphasized that if we didn't have the Leader's guidance, things would have been much worse. 205/212/104
