Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani emphasized that Iran supports Yemeni people in their struggle against aggressors and values their revolutionary aspirations.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday as he received the credentials of Yemen's new ambassador to Tehran, 'Ibrahim Mohammed bin Mohammed Ebrahim Deilami',that "The suffering of the Muslim and oppressed people of Yemen has been one of the main concerns of the Iranian people in recent years", according to Iran Press.

"Iran considers the aspirations of Yemeni people and their revolution as the right and legitimate one and values their resistance against the aggressors," Rouhani added.

Emphasizing that Iran stands with the Yemeni people, the Iranian president said:" The courage and resilience of the Yemeni people against the aggressors is praised and honored and Iran strongly supports the Yemeni people on their path to establish peace and stability in their country through Yemeni-Yemeni negotiations.

Also in the meeting, the new Yemeni ambassador to Tehran, Ibrahim Mohammed bin Mohammad Ebrahim Deilami called for the further development and strengthening of cooperation and relations between the two countries.

"The Yemeni people will never forget the strong, honorable and valuable stances of the Iranian government and nation in support of the Yemeni revolution," he said, adding that "Yemenis are always on the side of Iran in the fight against the arrogant positions of world powers and supports its efforts for the stability and security of the region, in particular, the Hormuz Peace Initiative". 212/211/205
