Iran Press/ Iran news: While under snow on Monday, the Zanjani people in a spontaneous movement rallied in support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the speech of the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The people chanted 'Down with America', 'Down with Israel', and 'Down with Saboteur' as slogans, Iran Press reported.
The representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Zanjan's Friday Prayer Leader Hojjatoleslam Ali Khatami stressed on resistance against the enemies' plots, noting that the saboteurs' line is separated from protesters.
The government decided on Friday to cut gas subsidies to fund support for the poor and middle class.
On Saturday, President Hassan Rouhani, Parliament Speaker َAli Larijani and Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi convened a session of the Supreme Council of Economic Coordination and agreed that all state bodies will fully cooperate in implementing the decision.
Following the decision, some cities in Iran have witnessed protests which have been associated with violent behavior of some rioters, such as the destruction and burning of some public and private places, have unfortunately led to the deaths of several people.
