Tehran (IP) - Iranian Minister of Energy said Iran-Russia cooperation projects will be executed by end of 2019.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran press after Wednesday's cabinet session, Reza Ardakanian referred to the recent telephone conversation with the Russian minister of energy, by saying that the talk was about collaboration projects between Iran and Russia.

"What I was talking to our Russian partner was about the implementation of minutes of meeting that we had in June in Iran under the umbrella of the Joint Economic Commission," he said.

Ardakanian also noted that the completion of agreements regarding the thermal power plant with the capacity of 1400 MW, will be executed in the southern Hormozgan province of Iran.

He also said that the Garmsar-Incheboron rail route is now at the last stage regarding the direct guarantee for the project.

"In addition to these two major projects, we are working closely with the Russian Federation on completion of the governmental loan in the capacity of 5 billion US dollars," Ardakanian added.

He went on to say, "We are working with different ministries in Iran and maybe in two weeks I am heading a group of authorities to discuss the details with Russian partners in Moscow."

Ardakanian concludes his remarks by saying that by the end of 2019, the operation of the first projects started. 101/201
