Tehran (IP) - Afghanistan and India count a lot on the Chabahar Free Trade Zone region and this place sheds ray of hope for Afghan people to trade and reach transition routes, Afghanistan Ambassador in Tehran noted.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, on the sideline of the Afghanistan Movements Conference held at  Supreme Council on Foreign Relations, Afghanistan ambassador to Tehran, Abdolghafour Lival said,  "Afghanistan is eager to expand its relationship with Iran in all spheres.  A comprehensive five-parallel Iran-Afghanistan document will be signed by the two sides. The document covers economic, cultural, trade, immigration and security fields." 

Highlighting legalizing Afghan immigrants in Iran, Lival added, "Afghanistan's embassy in Iran is trying to facilitate the legality of Afghan locals in Iran." 

Afghan ambassador to Iran stressed the high level of Iran-Afghanistan economic cooperation and expressed hope that the cooperation would be a win-win situation for both countries. 

He noted that Afghanistan and India count a lot on the Chahbahar Free Trade Zone and this zone sheds a ray of hope for Afghan people to trade and reach transition routes. 

Lival by commenting on cultural Iran-Afghanistan sections went on to say, "Both countries have done out most efforts facilitating cultural affairs given a significant number of Afghan students that are educating in the Islamic Republic of Iran's universities. This is in itself has brought and made high economic and cultural potentials." 

The top diplomat highlighted that the importance of Iran's regional policies one of which is Iran's willingness for long-lasting dignified peace in Afghanistan, and Afghanistan also is eager to have a reliable and good neighbor in the region.

The ambassador concluded that there is a new chapter of the relationship between Iran and Afghanistan ahead. 104/219
