Iran Press/Iran news: Brigadier General Kiumars Heidari, in a ceremony to unveil the latest achievements of Iranian Army's Ground Forces said that on the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution and according to the Leaders' orders, Iranian Army Ground Forces (IAGF) proudly achieved the highest level of self-sufficiency in production of all weapons and ammunition by Iranian military experts.
Brigadier General Heidari added: "Today Iranian Army Ground Forces have reached the zenith of authority and power, and self-sufficiency is the main component of this power." The commander of the IAGF congratulated the Iranian nation for the latest military achievement.
Brigadier General Heidari emphasized on the readiness of Iran's armed forces to confront any kind of threat, stating: " Iranian army rapid reaction ground forces proudly produced all needed military equipment including super-heavy tanks, armoured personnel carriers, all kinds of Radars, military cameras, telecommunication shields, reaching the highest level of self-sufficiency."
The commander of the Iranian Army's ground forces said that all weapons, ammunition, and equipment used in Iran's defense cycle are produced domestically, adding that these achievements are set to continue in the future.
Colonel Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of the Army's 'Shahid Zarharn Industry', in the ceremony said: "Today in addition to unveiling new achievements of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, many optimized and upgraded heavy equipment including 'Chieftain Tanks' and 'BTR Carriers' were officially handed over to Iranian Army Ground Forces."
Colonel Soleimani stated that the main aim of 'Shahid Zarharn Industry' is to design and manufacture equipment to increase army speed of movement, agility, and transportation to the highest level. 205/ 211 /103
