Iran’s ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari

Belarus (IP): Iran’s ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari discussed the health of Iranian students with the Head of Belarusian State Medical University.

Iran Press/Europe: Iran’s ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari in a telephone conversation with Professor Anatoly Sikorsky, Head of the Belarusian State Medical University on Wednesday emphasized that ensuring the health of Iranian students is a top priority.

The ambassador asked the head of the university to continue the online classes as before.

Explaining the latest status of university curriculum decisions, Sikorsky said that maintaining the health of students and the university's teaching staff was of paramount importance to the university's management and that all necessary measures had been considered.

He stressed that he would consider the Iranian embassy's request to continue online classes and would make every effort in this regard.

The president of the Belarusian State Medical University also said that the final exams of the students will be held according to the schedule and all appropriate health measures will be taken so that the health of the students and the teaching staff is not endangered.

Yari thanked the efforts of the university administrators, emphasizing that the embassy is ready to cooperate with the university for the health of Iranian students.

About 800 Iranian students are studying at Belarusian universities especially in the field of medicine.
