Iran Press/ Europe: Kazem Jalali and Sergey Katyrin discussed the existing problems in the development of the trade ties between Iran and Russia, as well as exchanging their views for the development of cooperation between private sectors of the two countries.
Iranian Ambassador to Russia referred to the current level of economic and trade ties, calling for a more serious approach of the two countries' private sector to take advantage of the opportunities created by governments to further enhance the economic exchanges between the Islamic Republic and Russia, Iran Press reported.
Kazem Jalali also pointed to the significance of provincial cooperation and the special attention of senior officials of the two countries on boosting ties, terming cooperation between the two countries as the valuable opportunity for private sectors for taking advantage of these capacities optimally.
The President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin, on his part, referred to the interest of Russian traders for cooperating and attending lucrative Iranian market as a large market with many fields of cooperation, calling on the active presence of Iranian businessmen in Russia's market which he called as the open market interested in the Iranian goods.
Pointing to the problems created for traders caused by the outbreak of novel Coronavirus, Sergey Katyrin expressed hope that the two countries of Iran and Russia would resume their predefined plans and decisions in the near future.
