Kazem Jalali met with Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak

Iran and Russia have agreed to hold the 16th round of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in the near future in Russia.

Iran Press/Europe: In a meeting with the Russian Minister of Energy and the head of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, Alexander Novak, the Iranian ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali stressed on the importance of improving and upgrading of bilateral relations given the will of senior officials in both Tehran and Moscow.

The Iranian ambassador to Russia also congratulated Novak over his reappointment as Russia’s energy minister.

Novak, for his part, expressed readiness for cooperation and negotiation to help develop economic ties between Iran and Russia further, especially implementing agreed projects in energy, agriculture, industry, mines, and trade.

The two sides agreed to hold the 16th round of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in the near future in Russia and also agree to hold regular meetings between the Iranian Energy Minister and the Russian ambassador to Tehran, to discuss the process of implementing agreements already signed by the two sides.
