Geneva (IP) - The 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution was celebrated in Geneva, Switzerland, with a large number of foreign guests.

Iran Press/Europe: The ceremony was held at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) office on Tuesday, in which some Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives of other countries, senior executives and staff of international organizations, including the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, senior diplomats from foreign countries and a group of Iranians living in Switzerland participated in the commemoration ceremony.

Esmaeil Baghaei Hamaneh the Iranian Permanent Representative in Geneva, referring to the role of the Islamic Revolution in the development of the country and the supremacy of the Iranian nation, said, "Today, Iran's path to proud is open despite all the arrogant hostilities."

Baqaei Hamaneh as a speaker of the ceremony also commemorated the Martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, Late Commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Forces, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, and said: "Lieutenant General Soleimani played an incredible role in the fight against terrorism and extremism."

The 41st-anniversary commemoration of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran holds on Tuesday 11 February (22 Bahman in Persian calendar) around the country and the world.
