Iran Press/Asia: During the meeting, Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Mohammad Taqi Saberi congratulated Dolatzadeh on his appointment as Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Referring to the willingness of high-ranking officials of the two countries to expand relations between the two nations, with the same religion, language and culture; as well as positive developments in recent years in Iran-Tajikistan relations, the official stated Tehran's readiness to develop and strengthen relations in all fields, including cultural cooperation between the two countries which welcomed by the Tajik Minister of Culture.
Saberi noted, "There are many commonalities between Iran and Tajikistan in various fields, especially in the field of culture, and there is a very good capacity to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two countries. And the Islamic Republic of Iran has no restrictions on developing cooperation and relations with the Republic of Tajikistan."
The Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan noted that holding cultural week, visiting cultural and artistic delegations to participate in book fairs of the two countries, as well as visiting cultural, artistic and historical centers of Iran and Tajikistan, holding joint exhibitions to introduce scientific, cultural and artistic achievements and activities, distinguished works of Tajik and Iranian literature and celebration of national occasions of the two countries, including holding Hafez, Roudaki, Ferdowsi, Sa'adi and Mowlavi World Days, music festival with the presence of renowned Iranian and Tajik singers, are fields of cooperation in the development and strengthening cultural relations between the two countries. 212/ 104
