Tehran (IP) - Special Assistant to the Speaker of Parliament for International Affairs twitted that organized violence against Muslims in India is of serious concern.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Special Aide to the Speaker of Parliament for International Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian in his latest tweet mentioned that such violence is not compatible with the cultural spirit and the religious tradition of the Indian society.

He stressed the fact that "Indian government is expected to take instant and effective measures to prevent the spread of violence."

Recent violence erupted in the Indian capital, leading to a three-day-long rampage, with Hindu mobs attacking Muslim homes, shops and mosques.

Police in Delhi have been accused of looking the other way as Hindu mobs attacked Muslim homes while in many cases they were found to be complicit in the assaults.
