Iran Press/ America: Over 80,000 Coronavirus-related deaths have been detected in the US, data from Johns Hopkins University indicated Monday as states begin their phased re-openings.
The US remains the country hardest-hit by the Coronavirus pandemic more than 1.3 million people have contracted Coronavirus since the first reported cases in January that is nearly one-third of the world's over 4.1 million confirmed cases.
US President Donald Trump administration has faced a lot of criticism for handling the Coronavirus, in a recent one former US president Barack Obama called Trump’s handling of the Coronavirus pandemic an ‘absolute chaotic disaster’.

Also according to the New York Times, recent polls show that more Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the virus than approve.
The first case of COVID-19 in the U.S. was reported on Jan. 21 and the CDC activated an operation center in response to the outbreak. The first death occurred on Feb. 29 in Washington state.
