Biden accuses Trump of recklessness in assassination Major General Soleimani

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden criticized President Trump’s targeted assisting of Iranian Major General. Ghasem Soleimani on Thursday night, saying Trump “just tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox.”

Iran Press/America: The US Presidential candidate Joe Biden said:  “We could be on the brink of a major conflict across the Middle East,”  Biden also said. “I hope the US administration has thought through the second- and third-order consequences of the path they have chosen.

But I fear this administration has not demonstrated at any turn the discipline or long-term vision necessary — and the stakes could not be higher.” stated that “Iran will surely respond.” 

He went on to say "Trump owes the American people an explanation of the strategy and plan to keep safe our troops and embassy personnel, our people and our interests, both here at home and abroad, and our partners throughout the region and beyond.”

Biden also said: “Iran will surely respond.”

Major General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were assassinated in the US airstrikes in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.205/219
