Iranian envoy to the UN Eshaq Ale-Habib

Iran's envoy to the UN Eshaq Ale-Habib on Monday called US withdrawal of the JCPOA as well as the breach of the resolution of the UN security council as the irresponsibility of the permanent member, saying Iran will not carry the JCPOA burden alone.

Iran PressAmerica: Speaking at 74th session of the United Nations General assembly of UN which was held under the topic 'The report of IAEA' on Monday, Ale-Habib said that Iran continues to fulfill its commitment to the treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as well as the additional protocol along with its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as long as all of the signatories would stay committed.

Referring to the fact that the JCPOA has been aimed at fighting against the sanctions, so that the regular economic and business ties with Iran would be promoted, Iran's top diplomat said that for this very reason, all the signatories of JCPOA should support the implementation of it and should avoid any measure that could weaken it or might have any negative effect on it.

Referring to the withdrawal of the JCPOA and the resuming of imposing the sanctions, Ale- Habib said that the US measure has demonized JCPOA as an ineffective deal, warning that the nuclear deal is on the threshold of real danger.

Iran's Ale Habib also went on to highlight that in case of a serious imbalance in the earned benefits of the two sides, no agreement would be any longer available.

Emphasizing that US policy was disloyal to JCPOA and was the breach of UNSC resolution 2231, Iran's envoy to UN stressed that Iran's goodwill in this regard as well as exercising restraint would have no positive result.
