Various areas of Herat province, western Afghanistan, are still facing terrible earthquakes.

Iran PressAsia: According to Iran Press, more than a week has passed since the earthquakes in western Afghanistan and the aftershocks continue in Herat, but on Sunday an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 shook Western Afghanistan and killed more people. 

Most of the people of Herat, especially on the outskirts of the city and villages, still live in tents, and the situation in Herat getting worse. Most of the shops and schools in the earthquake-affected areas of western Afghanistan are closed, and in addition, the people are suffering more emotional and psychological damage.

According to Afghan news sources, as a result of recent earthquakes in western Afghanistan, about four thousand people have been killed and injured, and some villages in Herat province have been destroyed.

Living in tents has turned a lifestyle in western Afghanistan these days in the autumn and cold seasons, and with the lack of basic living facilities and enough food, the earthquake victims are having a hard time.

Several citizens of Herat living in tents told Iran Press reporter on the ground that they had been living in tents for several days the conditions were very difficult and they needed help. 219
