Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance reports about the agreements reached with Qatar and Pakistan to hold joint cultural programs in the countries.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili told Iran Press correspondent on Wednesday that soon Iran will hold a magnificent cultural week in Qatar and that Qataris have welcomed the event. 

Esmaili said: "For cultural cooperation, we met with other countries' officials, mostly Central Asian and North African countries, and overall, despite the shortness of the trips, we had good meetings."

Also, Iranian arts will be taught in Pakistan following the relevant talks, he added. 

Three days ago, the Iranian and Pakistani Ministers of Culture reviewed the ways to develop the cultural relations between the two countries, including the relations in the art area.

Pakistani Minister of Culture Jamal Shah, for his part in the meeting, said that Islamabad was interested in bringing Iranian arts such as calligraphy, to be taught in Pakistani schools.
