Nowruz festival celebrated in UNESCO headquarter in Paris to mark the event that contributes to the cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities.

Iran Press/Europe: In the tenth anniversary of its inscription in UNESCO, festivities of Nowruz celebrated at its headquarters in Paris to mark the beginning of the spring.

The UNESCO secretary general and delegations from Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan organized the event.

The festival of Nowruz that covers and approximate more than 400 million people around the world was inscribed on the UNESCO List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016 as a multinational case; Nowruz is also the biggest and most successful example of philosophy for conventions of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. 212/103/213
