Iran Press/Iran news: Appreciating the Iraqi nation and government for their warm hospitality accorded to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, the speaker of parliament, Ali Larijani said: "Various economic, political and security agreements, as well as agreements on pilgrimage and tourism, were the result of President Rouhani's trip to Baghdad."

Referring to the visit President Rouhani paid to Grand Ayatollah Sistani, Ali Larijani thanked the Grand Ayatollah who is a great source of emulation for Shia Muslims and urged the Foreign Ministry to pursue the implementation of agreements signed by the two sides during this trip.

Pointing to New Zealand's recent terrorist attack Larijani expressed his empathy with Muslims around the world saying: "The incident is an alarming event, and we urge the Europeans to be more careful in their monitoring of terrorist undercover movements".
He added: "Of course, for many years, the behavior and thoughts that are being advertised in Europe are alongside Islamophobia which may sometimes entail such results."
Of course, we suspect that behind the scenes some governments play a role so to identify the different dimensions of the incident, and the State Department has to call on the organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to pursue this issue.
