Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, presided over the meeting on Saturday.
During the session, the most important issues relating to cyberspace, including an authentic identity system in Iran's cyberspace, were discussed.
According to an Iran Press report, President Rouhani in previous sessions of the council had said that despite anti-Iran sanctions, great opportunities were available in cyberspace and new information networks should be directed towards boosting manufacturing production and creating new job opportunities and employment.
President Rouhani also emphasized the role of cyberspace in defusing enemy plots.
He said cyberspace can create hope for the future, unity and public trust, and these are very important. On the other hand, President Rouhanui said, cyberspace can be misused for malicious purposes. 105/ 211 /210
