The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has said the message of the Islamic Revolution has influenced a large part of the world.

Iran PressIran news: In a gathering in Tehran on Saturday, "Forty Years of Plot, Forty Years of Resistance", Brigadier General Hossein Salami emphasized that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has succeeded in changing the political map of the world.

According to Iran Press, Salami also said, because of the Islamic Revolution, a new concept of the Islamic world was prevalent, and for the first time, Islam was governed by its political truth.

The senior IRGC commander added: "The Islamic revolution changed global thinking about power and connected the discontinuous geography of the Muslim and oppressed world."

Noting that the withdrawal of enemy forces from the region is a direct consequence of the Islamic world's resistance, he said, while enemies are now making retreats in the region, the Iranian nation has understood that success will be achieved through resistance.

“Americans spent a lot of money and eventually left Syria. Americans signed JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] and then pulled out of it. Americans waged economic wars with powers with whom they have heavy economic interactions. All of these indicate their failure in the realm of politics,” Brigadier General Hossein Salami noted.

The more conspiracies organized against the Iranian nation, the lesser their effect will become, said the IRGC deputy commander, adding, “We are witnessing this in the field of economic sanctions.” 101/ 211 / 202
