China has warned the Group of Seven (G7) over implementing a policy of economic coercion, according to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Saturday.

Iran PressAsia: "We advise the G7 nations to refrain from planning and participating in economic coercion," the statement said.

"The US is currently imposing unilateral sanctions and pursuing a so-called disengagement policy. They are the ones politicizing the economy, turning it into a weapon and acting like true oppressors," the statement reads.
