Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minster of Culture reported the signing of two memorandum of understanding with Venezuela to boost the cultural ties with the country.

Iran PressIran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, March 15, Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili told reporters that by virtue of the MoUs Iran and Venezuela will open a joint paper factory.

Noting that the paper factory project has progressed up to 80%, he reported the other agreement according to which the two countries' cultural weeks are planned to be held in Tehran and Caracas.

The exchange of media training staff was another area of Iran-Venezuela cooperation, as the minister reported.

Elsewhere, he referred to the commemoration ceremony for Hakim Nizami Ganjavi. The famous Iranian poet, Hakim Nizami Ganjavi is very popular in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan, which is a manifestation of unity in the region.

The 12th of March in the official calendar of Iran is the day commemorating Nezami. On this occasion, the 5th to the 12th of March has been named "Nezami Week" and provincial centers of Iran host various programs.
