Top IRGC Commander, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari has said: "America's hegemony over the world is weaker than four decades ago; its power is declining and enemies' efforts to force Iran to surrender have failed miserably.

Iran Press /Iran News: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said Iran will not surrender to the United States, and Americans are fooling themselves with the illusion that they can force Iran to return to the negotiating table.

Speaking at Congress of Martyrs of South Khorasan province, top commander of IRCG said: "Since the victory of the Islamic revolution 40 years ago, US endured heavy defeats. After they failed in their incursion in Tabas desert, they imposed a war on us to prevent the exporting of the Islamic revolution to other regions of the world, but the war and Iranian people's resistance, made us a role model for other countries if different parts of the world.

He continued: "What we witness today and our Leader mentioned before is that US and its hegemony in the world is weaker than four decades ago; US power is declining."

Commander of IRCG also mentioned: "These achievements are not only uttered by the Leader and other Islamic Republic officials, but enemies also confess to these facts. They are disappointed with imposing pressure and sanctions, and threatening Iran".  

Jafari said: "Blessed with the bloods of martyrs, and despite all problems in our society, the enemies' attempts to defeat Islamic Revolution, to force it to give up and surrender have failed miserably".

Major General added: "This role for people in Islamic Society and Islamic Movement ensures survival of the Islamic Republic. Martyrs blood and their path is guarantor of this Divine Path."  212/ 211 / 103
