Tehran (IP) - The Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency met with the Iranian Foreign Minister on Saturday in Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: In the meeting, the process of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the IAEA was reviewed with an emphasis on mutual constructive relations.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed Iran's serious will for the technical settlement of the safeguard-relevant issues in the shortest possible time.

Grossi for his part stressed the technical settlement of the safeguard issues and welcomed any initiative that would contribute to the effectual conclusion of the JCPOA negotiations.

Iran's international nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was signed between the country and the P5+1 group, including Russia, China, the UK, France, the US, and Germany in 2015, but the US withdrew from the agreement on May 18, 2018, re-imposing more sanctions on Iran.
