Türkiye (IP) - The rescue operations of the teams of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the earthquake-affected areas of southern Türkiye continue without interruption.

Iran PressAsia: The death toll from the earthquake that hit Türkiye and Syria climbed to more than 38,000 on Tuesday, with the United Nations warning that the final number may double.

After the terrible earthquake in the south of Türkiye, Iran as a neighboring country is helping the Turkish earthquake victims.

Esmail Eskandari, head of the rescue teams of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in the earthquake-affected areas of southern Türkiye, said that due to the destruction of 80% of some areas, including the city of Adiyaman, the operation of the Iranian teams has been successful.

According to Eskandari after the end of the search and rescue operation, the resettlement operation will begin in the earthquake-affected areas.

The 120-person rescue teams of Iran have been sent to the earthquake-affected areas of Türkiye with full equipment.

Also, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has established its own camp in Adiyaman.

The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has also established a field hospital with 50 beds and complete facilities in Adiyaman.
