Aleppo (IP) - The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps' Quds Force, arrived in the city of Aleppo in northwestern Syria on Wednesday evening to monitor the delivery of aid to the Syrian people.

Brigadier General Qaani's visit to the earthquake-stricken areas of the city of Aleppo is just when the fourth plane carrying the humanitarian aid of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the earthquake-stricken people of Syria landed at the international airport of Aleppo (northwest Syria) on Wednesday evening.

"Salman Nawab Nouri", Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Aleppo said that the cargo of the fourth plane of the Islamic Republic of Iran's aid to the Syrian people, which arrived at the Aleppo airport, includes six pallets of tents, three pallets of dates, 15 pallets Rice, three pallets of Tuna fish and two pallets of pasta and tomato paste.

Earlier, three planes carrying aid from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the people affected by the recent strong earthquake in Syria had arrived in this country.

The first plane unloaded its cargo at Damascus airport, the second plane landed at Aleppo airport, and the third plane landed in Latakia and unloaded its cargo there.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been the leading country among the friendly countries of Syria in sending humanitarian aid and defeating Western economic sanctions against the Syrian people.
