An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale shook Isin, Bandar Abbas, Hormuzhan Province, south Iran, early Thursday.

Iran news: According to an Iran Press report, the tremor occurred at 23:42 hours local time (20:42 GMT). The epicenter of the quake was registered at 56.28 degrees longitude and 27.36 degrees latitude and in depth of 11 kilometers.

No report on possible damage to life or properties has been released yet, but rescue teams have been deployed to the area.
