Tehran (IP) - Senior Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said Lt. Gen. Soleimani was a man of both battlefield and diplomacy.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the first international conference of the "Martyr Qasem Soleimani School of Thought" on Wednesday, Ali-Akbar Velayati said that General Soleimani was a multidimensional man who used to break the deadlocks both in the battlefield and diplomacy arena. 

The First International Conference on Martyr Qasem Soleimani School of Thought kicked off in Tehran on Wednesday with the presence of the Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, senior Iranian officials, leaders of the "Resistance Front" from regional countries, and other high-ranking Iranian officials and foreign guests.

Describing General Soleimani's character, Velayati noted that General Soleimani did not only defend Muslims but all other religions' followers. 

Over the years, he defended the oppressed nations of the region in the fight against ISIS, which was trained by the US and the Israeli regime, he said.

The senior advisor stated: "Soleimani believed that the most important goal of the dictators is to enhance extremism and cast division among Muslims."

General Soleimani was not only a hero for the Iranian nation but a hero for the freedom-seekers all over the world, he reiterated.
