Iran Press/ Iran News: In Tehran, people from different walks of life took to the streets and gathered in Imam Hossein (AS) Square, commemorating the epic of Dey 9th on Thursday. (December 30).
'Dey 9 Epic', refers to the mass rallies held in support of the Islamic establishment after unrest in Iran in 2009.
13 years ago on this day, millions of Iranians in the capital Tehran and several other major cities took to the streets to condemn the foreign-plotted riots following the 2009 presidential election.
Besides Tehran, in many towns and cities and centers of provinces across Iran similar rallies are underway including in Rasht, Zanjan, and Shahre Kord.
