Ukrainian and Turkish presidents had a telephone conversation on Sunday night about the export of grain through the Black Sea.

Iran PressAsia: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan discussed the Black Sea grain export agreement on Sunday with the Ukrainian president, as both sides seek changes that would boost their exports.

Zelensky said: "The fields of expanding grain exports from Ukrainian ports have been reviewed with his Turkish counterpart in line with the agreement made with Russia under the supervision of the United Nations."

This is the second telephone conversation between Zelenskiy and Erdogan in the last 72 hours.

Erdogan announced on Friday in a conference in Istanbul that he will talk with Putin and Zelensky, the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, to facilitate the export of grain from the Black Sea.

The initial agreement on the export of Ukrainian grains was finalized in early summer between this country, Turkey and Russia, and based on it, the export of grains and fertilizers of this country became possible from a number of blockaded ports.

On July 22, representatives of Turkey, the United Nations, Russia and Ukraine signed this agreement in Istanbul. 219
