Iran Press/ Asia: According to the IRIB public relations Department, the Head of IRIB, Peyman Jebelli, on Monday evening, 28 November, during his trip to India to participate in The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) meeting, at Iran's embassy in New Delhi, met with the ambassador and staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy and said:" Introducing Iran's capabilities and market to economic, cultural and media activists of India and vice versa can lead to the promotion of bilateral economic, cultural and media relations."
He spoke about the determination of the national media to raise the demands of Iranian businessmen living in India as well as activists related to the Indian parties and added: "By producing and broadcasting various reports and programs on the demands of Iranian businessmen and the challenges in completing the economic plans of the two countries, we will follow up the issues until reaching the final result."
The head of IRIB went on to state that the formation of cyberspace and the development of social networks is a challenge facing official media in all countries, and said: "All over the world, the influence of news authority and media consumption of large television networks has declined and has turned to consumption of social networks and virtual space."
