Iran Press/ Asia: It was on Sunday evening that Turkish TV reported that an explosion occurred on Esteghlal Street overlooking Taksim Square in Istanbul.
Fuat Oktay emphasized that the explosion in Taksim Square in the center of Istanbul was a terrorist operation.
Oktay also said that the number of injured in the incident has increased to 81 people, and the condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.
In response to this incident, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that he will not surrender to terrorists.
