Tehran (IP)- The Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) announced the increase in the traffic of trucks from the Astara-Baku-Russia land route.

Iran PressIran News: Referring to the significant increase in trade between Iran and Russia, TPO Head Alireza Peyman-Pak, said: The increase in trade as well as the launching of the North-South Corridor has stepped up the traffic of trucks from Astara Customs on the border of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Samur crossing the border on the border of Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Peyman Pak added: "Unfortunately, the current infrastructure on the land route between Iran and Russia, which passes through the Republic of Azerbaijan, is not enough for this volume of trade, and Samur Customs in Russia should also be developed."
