Dushanbe (IP) - Tajikistan Foreign Minister, Sirojiddin Muhriddin met Iran's Ambassador to express his sympathy with the people and government of Iran over the Shah Cheragh terrorist attack.

Iran PressAsia: On October 26, a terrorist armed with a machine gun opened fire on the pilgrims at the Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, martyred 13 innocent people, and seriously wound 30. 

This terrorist act, for which ISIS terrorist group has taken responsibility, was condemned by the United Nations and various countries around the world.

Tajikistan Foreign Minister, Sirojiddin Muhriddin on Thursday visited Iran's embassy in Dushenbeh to express his country's sympathy with the victims of the Shah Cheragh terrorist attack.

Sirojiddin Muhriddin in a meeting with Iran's ambassador in Tajikistan Mohammad Taghi Saberi expressed his condolences to the ambassador, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the noble nation of Iran.

Muhriddin signed the memorial book of Shah Cheragh's martyrs.

Earlier, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon offered his condolences to the Iranian President over the terrorist attack.
