Iran Press/ Middle East: The fourth edition of the Asian Junior Athletics Championship kicked off on Thursday, October 13, and is underway until Sunday, October 16, in Kuwait.
In the competitions underway in Kuwait, Iran's Melika Nouroozi managed to register a record of 57/84 meters in the hammer throw section and won the silver medal, standing second after her Korean rival.
In the same section, Mahdis Minaeepour also registered a record of 54/02 and stood after Nouroozi with a bronze medal.
