Egypt (IP) - Iran's Minister of Health says the country is ready to share its experience in controlling diseases and scientific advancements with the member countries of the WHO's Regional Office in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Iran PressAfrica: Bahram Einollahi left Tehran for Cairo to participate in the forum of the health ministers of the WHO's Regional Office of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Upon his arrival in Cairo on Wednesday, Einollahi said the summit was an opportunity to shore up health diplomacy, decision-making, and regulation of health policies among the 22 member countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region of the World Health Organization.

He said that about 30 common topics were to be discussed with the active participation of the Iranian health ministry's experts.

On the first day of the meeting, the Iranian health minister met with the head of the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean.
