Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the interventionist resolution of the European Parliament would receive a due answer.

Iran PressIran news: Publishing a resolution, the European Parliament called on Iran to investigate the case of the late Mehsa Amini's death.

The resolution came as the US-Europe-affiliated media have recently published unreal report about the case and the unrest sparked due to it.

The unrest and brawls were instigated under the pretext of a Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

Nasser Kanaani, the Spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in response to the statement that the resolution contained unilateral comments and prejudices on the Islamic Republic of Iran and was invalid basically.

He said the resolution criticized the Iranian police's confrontation with the rebels' acts of sabotage as the main sources of the unrest in the country organized it from Europe.

"Issuing the statement, the European Parliament showed that it is continuing its selective behavior toward Iran, for it was not observed once that this parliament, despite the exaggerative claims, issued a human rights resolution in opposition to the heavy anti-human sanctions against the people of Iran," Kanaani noted.

He stated that the case of Mahsa Amini was just a pretext the European parliament improvised for the enemy's elements inside Iran.

The spokesman of the Iranian ministry of foreign affairs stressed that the country would interact with all about the case of Mahsa Amini based on mutual respect, but would stand firmly against any pressure on the Iranian nation and give it due response.

Under the pretext of Mahsa's death, the anti-Iranian media and bloggers affiliated with the Western states have been disseminating fake news and fueling the unrest in Iran.

The rebels desecrated the Islamic sanctities, including the holy Quran; they burnt Quran, set fire to the martyrs' pictures, and insulted Prophet Mohammad and his progeny (PBUT). The rioters even set fire on ambulances.
