Samarkand (IP) - President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting with the Pakistani prime minister, emphasized, "Tehran does not consider any boundaries for the development of relations with Islamabad".

Iran PressAsia: Ebrahim Raisi hosted Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the second day of his visit to Uzbekistan.

In the meeting, Raisi expressed his condolences for the recent flood disaster in Pakistan and wished for patience and health for the survivors and victims.

Describing the importance of the relations between Tehran and Islamabad, the President emphasized, "Iran does not consider any boundaries for the development of relations with Pakistan".

For his part, the Prime Minister of Pakistan stated that the recent flood disaster in his country was caused by climate change, asking for the help and cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to deal with the main agents that emit greenhouse gases.

The two sides welcomed the cooperation in the field of energy and emphasized the necessary follow-ups to remove the obstacles in this field.

Raisi and Sharif agreed to form a joint committee to follow up and implement these plans.
