Hasan Yazdani, Iranian freestyle legend, won 10-0 against Slovakian representative Makoev in the semi-finals of the 86 kg weight class and went to the final match of the 2022 World Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Belgrade, Serbia, to face David Taylor from USA after taking the crown at last year's championships in Oslo, Norway.

Iran PressEurope: In 86 kg, Hasan Yazdani, after taking a break in the first round, wrestled with Ivan Ichizli from Moldova in the second round and won with a score of 10-0 and went to the quarterfinals.

Before that,  the world and Olympic gold medalist defeated Sebastien Jezirzanski from Poland with a result of 11:0 and went to the semi-finals. 

 

 

With this win, Yazdani became a finalist to face David Taylor again for gold.

Mohammad Nokhodi from Iran is also through to the 79kg final to wrestle Jordan Burroughs (USA).

In the semi-final stage of weight 79 kg, Mohammad Nokhodi faced Vasil Mikhailov from Ukraine. After the opponent could not score a point during the 30-second warning, he buried him with a double elbow to lead the first period with a 3-0 advantage.

to finish, In the second period, the opponent buried Nakhodi with a takedown. Then both wrestlers scored two points in interaction to make the result 5-4 in favor of Iran's representative, and Nokhodi entered the finals for the second year in a row.
