Kazakhstan (IP) - The Head of Iran's Organization of Islamic Culture and Relations says Persian language courses are being taught in three major universities in Kazakhstan, including Eurasia National University.

Iran PressAsia: Hojjatoleslam Mahdi Imanipour met on Wednesday with the President of the Eurasia National University and discussed the scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries. 

Hojjatoleslam Imanipour also visited different parts of the Linguistics Museum of Eurasia National University.

In an interview with Iran Press correspondent, Imanipour highlighted the capacity of the university to develop Persian learning and reported about a 14-day visa waiver which would bring a new opportunity for cooperation with Eurasian National University. 

The head of the university, Yerlan Sydykov, told Iran Press that traditional and constant relations had been maintained between the Eurasian University and the Iranian academic centers. 

Sydykov said the Persian language was being taught at Eurasia National University, and its expansion was on the agenda.

He also reported establishing an Iranology center in the university, and the related activities would be expanded.
